Cut-Tex® PRO is a groundbreaking cut resistant fabric, now being used to create cut resistant clothing for police, prison, emergency services, social and health care, as well as industries, such as metal pressing and glass handling.
PPSS cut resistant clothing is manufactured using Cut-Tex® PRO, offering ISO 13997:1999 Blade Cut Resistance Level 5 - the highest possible for textile.
Cut-Tex® PRO also offers EN 388:2003 tear resistance level 4 (the highest possible) and abrasion resistance level 4 (the highest possible).
Comfortable, lightweight and concealable cut resistant clothing have become of great interest and a really useful choice for many company owners, health & safety managers and everyone else with the responsibility of protecting the workforce and ensuring their personal safety.

Please note that the potential applications of our high performance PPSS cut resistant clothing are endless.
-
PPSS cut resistant sweat shirts, windbreakers and gloves for private security firms, enforcement agencies and homeland security services.
-
PPSS cut and bite resistant sleeves and boiler suits for mental health care facilities and those working within special needs, autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
-
PPSS cut resistant sweat shirts and sleeves for industries, such as glass handling and metal pressing.
The obviously greatest advantage is the fact that is 100% concealable. Wearing PPSS cut resistant clothing will allow the wearer to deal with potentially hostile situations and aggressive members of the public primarily using their positive personality, excellent diplomacy and negotiation or communication skills, while being reasonably protected in case the situation erupts and edged weapons or sharp instruments are being used.
Recommending cut resistant clothing does not mean we suggest you are in danger. We simply want to point that it is common sense to believe that you will have a higher chance of remaining unharmed in the unlikely, but of course possible, event of something going wrong if you are wearing clothing made out of Cut-Tex® PRO.
Wearing this type of protective clothing can be compared to wearing a seat belt when driving a car. We do not put the seat belt on because we believe we are going to have an accident today. We are simply acknowledging the fact that there is an exceptionally small chance that we might crash. Yet, if this chance becomes reality, you have increased the chance of survival by wearing a seat belt effectively.

PPSS Group demonstrates body armour
Robert Kaiser of PPSS Group recently gave a live demonstration of his company’s body armour, stab vests and slash resistant clothing – using using knives, syringes, and steel pipes on himself. He survived.
Aiming to “clarify the common misperceptions around body armour”, Kaiser demonstrated the effectiveness and capabilities of the
equipment at the London Islington Hilton Hotel.
PPSS has also completed a survey that suggests paramedics should all be wearing stab vests.
72.8% of those completing the PPS survey said “stab vests, which offer blunt trauma protection, should be issued to all paramedics”.
87.7% of these also said that “paramedics should be issued with their own individual stab vest”.
55.6% mentioned they were not aware of the latest available advances in covert stab vests, e.g. thickness, weight, concealability and wearability.
"Many of these professionals still believe stab vests are 6kg heavy, one inch thick, bulky, uncomfortable, restrictive and confrontational looking,” Kaiser said.
“But this is now far away from the truth."
